World without technology

Could you live in a world without technology? Before you answer consider the following statements about living in a world without technology. One of the first types of technology was electricity, without it we would still have lanterns or candles to light the night or our homes. Dating even more into the birth of technology we would see the first toilets being made. Before the toilets the human race was forced to releasing their bodies waste into holes in the ground outhouses. Imagine having to adventure into the darkness at two in the morning to use the bathroom in the outhouse. In today’s society in might not have been so bad due to the street lights or lights from other sources. However these people, our ancestors would be traveling in complete darkness in the rural areas filled with horrifying animals. This is all part of what today would probably look similar to if we still lived in a world without technology. Another scenario would be in taking days weeks or months to travel to the annual family reunion due to their being no sort of motorized vehicles. Flying was not possible and neither was driving all travel was by foot or horse. It taking five minutes to go to grandma’s house up the street would now take twenty or thirty minutes. What else would we be missing, we would not be able to communicate as quickly as today due to their being no computers, cell phones, or not even house phones. The only way to communicate was through mail which due to no motorized vehicles would take forever. A timeframe would be it might take three to four months just to see how life has been for your college roommate. Also there was no google so when you would be sitting around thinking about where babies came from you would have to make the awkward attempt to ask YOUR PARENTS. Something that is even worse would be the fact that there would be no television so you would have to do the most dreadful thing in reading a book. So how would you feel about living in a world without technology?
